Online Shop Terms & Customer Information
About these terms
These terms apply to purchases made through the ADHCrafts online store, including physical products and bookable ADHCrafts workshops.
They are intended to explain clearly what you can expect when you buy from ADHCrafts and what we ask from you as a customer.
Different terms may apply to bespoke fleece-processing and hand-spinning services arranged through the main ADHCrafts website. Those services have their own booking, deposit and cancellation arrangements.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Products and product descriptions
ADHCrafts specialises in small-batch, handmade and natural-fibre products. We aim to describe and photograph each product clearly and accurately so that you know what you are buying.
Because many of our materials are natural or prepared by hand, some variation is normal and forms part of the character of the product. This may include differences in natural colour, texture, fibre characteristics, hand-spun yarn, or the appearance of handmade items.
Where a measurement, weight or length is approximate, this will be stated in the individual product description.
Natural fibres and hand-spun yarn
Natural fibres vary between breeds, individual animals and fleeces. Even fibre from animals of the same breed can differ in colour, texture, staple length and spinning characteristics.
For one-off hand-spun yarn, we aim to show photographs of the actual yarn being offered for sale and provide the available information about breed, fibre content, weight, length and provenance.
Where photographs are representative rather than showing the exact item you will receive, this will be made clear in the product listing.
Crafting kits
Kit contents are listed on each product page.
Some ADHCrafts kits use locally sourced natural fibres. The mixture of fibre breeds may therefore change between batches depending on suitable fibre available when the kits are prepared.
Where the fibre mix varies, this will be clearly stated. Known breed and provenance information will be provided where available.
A changing fibre selection does not mean that the essential contents of the kit will be changed without explanation. The quantity of fibre, tools, guides and other items included will be shown in the relevant product description.
Natural dye and plant materials
Natural plant materials can vary between harvests and batches. Natural dye results can also be affected by factors including the fibre being dyed, water, mordant, quantities used and the dyeing process.
Unless a product description specifically states otherwise, photographs or examples of naturally dyed fibre should therefore be treated as examples rather than a guarantee of an exact finished colour.
Your consumer rights
Natural or handmade variation does not affect your statutory rights.
Products supplied by ADHCrafts must still be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
If a particular product characteristic is especially important to you, you are welcome to contact ADHCrafts before ordering so that we can provide any additional information available.
Prices and payment
All prices shown in the ADHCrafts online store are in pounds sterling (GBP).
ADHCrafts is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added to the prices shown.
The price displayed on the relevant product or workshop page is the price you will pay for that item, together with any applicable delivery charge shown before you complete checkout.
Where delivery costs depend on the size, weight or combination of products in your order, the available delivery options and charges will be shown during checkout before payment is taken.
Payment
Payment is currently accepted securely through PayPal and any other payment methods shown as available at checkout.
You do not need to provide ADHCrafts directly with your full card or PayPal payment details. Payment information is processed through the relevant payment provider.
You will have an opportunity to review your order, delivery or collection method, and total amount payable before completing your purchase.
Any optional additional product or service will only be charged where you have actively selected or agreed to it.
Pricing errors
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are displayed correctly.
If an obvious pricing error is identified before an order has been accepted, we will contact you and give you the option to continue with the correct price or cancel the order.
We will not increase the agreed price of an accepted order simply because our costs later change.
Ordering and confirmation
Before completing your order, you will have an opportunity to review the products or workshop places selected, quantities, delivery or collection method, and the total amount payable.
Please check the information carefully before submitting your order, including your contact details and delivery address where applicable.
By completing checkout and making payment, you are placing an order with ADHCrafts and agreeing to pay the amount shown.
Order confirmation:
After your order has been placed, you should receive an electronic confirmation using the contact details provided during checkout.
The confirmation will include or provide access to the important information relating to your purchase, including the products or workshop places ordered, the amount paid and relevant delivery, collection or booking information.
Please keep your confirmation for your records.
If you do not receive an expected confirmation, or if you notice an error in your order details, please contact ADHCrafts as soon as possible.
Acceptance and availability:
Products and workshop places are subject to availability.
Where stock is limited, including one-off hand-spun yarn, small-batch products and workshops with a fixed number of places, availability may change as orders are placed.
If ADHCrafts is unable to fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, for example where an item is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, or we cannot safely or lawfully fulfil the order.
Where an order is cancelled by ADHCrafts after payment, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Delivery
ADHCrafts currently delivers physical products within the United Kingdom.
Available delivery options and charges are shown during checkout before payment is completed. Delivery costs may vary depending on the size, weight and combination of products in your order.
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the relevant product page or order information. Because ADHCrafts is a small, independently run business producing and preparing many items in small batches, dispatch times may occasionally vary. Where a longer preparation time applies, this will be made clear before purchase.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the order being accepted.
Delivery addresses:
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.
If you notice an error after ordering, please contact ADHCrafts as soon as possible. We will try to correct the address before dispatch where we reasonably can.
ADHCrafts cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has already been dispatched.
Delivery delays:
Delivery times provided by postal or courier services are normally estimates unless a particular delivery date has been expressly agreed.
If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
If delivery by a particular date is essential to you, please contact ADHCrafts before ordering so that we can confirm whether this can reasonably be accommodated.
Your statutory rights relating to late or failed delivery remain unaffected.
Responsibility for goods during delivery:
ADHCrafts remains responsible for goods while they are being delivered using a postal or courier service offered by us.
Responsibility for the goods normally passes to you when you, or someone you have nominated to receive them, takes physical possession of the order.
If your order arrives damaged, is incomplete, or does not arrive as expected, please contact ADHCrafts as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate and help resolve the issue.
Workshop collection
Where offered on an individual product page, ADHCrafts may provide a free collection option linked to a specific workshop or event.
Collection is only available where the product listing or checkout specifically offers this option.
Orchard Centre collection – 4 November 2026
Customers attending the 'Introduction to Drop-Spindle Spinning workshop at the Orchard Centre, Launceston, on 4 November 2026' may choose to collect an eligible order at the venue.
Collection will be available from 5:30 pm on 4 November 2026, before the workshop begins at 6:00 pm.
Please select this collection option 'only if you are attending the workshop on that date'.
This is a one-off workshop collection arrangement and is not a general collection service from the Orchard Centre.
If you cannot collect your order:
If you have selected workshop collection and later find that you cannot attend or collect your order, please contact ADHCrafts as soon as possible.
We will discuss a suitable alternative, which may include arranging delivery. Additional postage charges may apply where delivery is requested instead of the collection option originally selected.
Products will not be left unattended at the venue or with Orchard Centre staff unless this has been specifically agreed with ADHCrafts.
Responsibility for collected orders:
Your order remains the responsibility of ADHCrafts until it is handed to you, or to another person you have identified to collect it on your behalf.
If someone else will collect your order, please let us know in advance so that we can release it to the correct person.
Returns and cancellations – physical products
We hope you will be happy with your ADHCrafts purchase. If you change your mind about an eligible physical product bought through the online store, you normally have a legal right to cancel the purchase within a limited period.
Your right to cancel
For most physical products bought online, you can tell ADHCrafts that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
You do not need to give a reason for cancelling.
Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you should return the goods within a further 14 days.
To cancel, please contact ADHCrafts using the contact details provided on this website and clearly identify the order you wish to cancel.
Returning goods:
Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to ADHCrafts.
Please package returned items carefully and use an appropriate postal or delivery service.
You may handle and inspect a product in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop. If a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, ADHCrafts may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.
Refunds following cancellation:
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, ADHCrafts will refund the price paid for the cancelled goods.
If you paid a delivery charge, we will also refund the cost of our standard delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of standard delivery.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless another method is expressly agreed.
We may wait until the returned goods have been received, or until you provide evidence that they have been sent back, before issuing the refund.
Once the relevant conditions are met, refunds will be made within the period required by law.
Products excluded from the change-of-mind cancellation right:
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to every type of product.
For example, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you may be excluded from the standard cancellation right. If an ADHCrafts product is personalised or made specifically to your requirements and this affects your cancellation rights, this will be made clear on the product page before you order.
This exception does not remove your rights if the product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the standards required by consumer law.
One-off and small-batch products:
A product being handmade, one-of-a-kind, small-batch or made from natural materials does not by itself remove your statutory cancellation rights.
Unless a legal exception applies and has been made clear before purchase, normal online cancellation rights continue to apply.
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described products
ADHCrafts takes care to prepare, describe and package products accurately. If something nevertheless arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
This is separate from the change-of-mind cancellation rights described above.
Under UK consumer law, goods supplied by ADHCrafts must be: of satisfactory quality; fit for their intended purpose; and as described.
Your statutory rights apply regardless of whether a product is handmade, small-batch, one-of-a-kind or made from natural materials.
Natural and handmade variation
Natural variation in fibre, colour, texture or other characteristics that has been clearly described before purchase is not normally a fault in itself.
However, describing a product as handmade, natural or variable does not remove your rights if the product is genuinely faulty, materially different from its description or unsuitable for the purpose for which it was sold.
If there is a problem
Please contact ADHCrafts with:
Your name;
Order number or other proof of purchase;
A brief description of the problem;
Photographs where these would help us understand the issue.
We may ask for further information where reasonably necessary to assess the problem.
We will work with you to provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a refund, repair or replacement.
Return costs for faulty or incorrect goods
Where goods need to be returned because they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you will not be expected to bear reasonable return costs where the law requires ADHCrafts to meet them.
Please contact us before returning the item so that we can agree the most appropriate return method.
Proof of purchase:
We may ask for reasonable proof that the product was purchased from ADHCrafts. This does not necessarily have to be the original receipt and may include an order confirmation or other suitable evidence of purchase.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
Workshop bookings and cancellations
ADHCrafts occasionally offers practical craft workshops and other bookable activities through the online store.
Each workshop listing will state the date, time, venue, price, expected duration, what is included and any important accessibility or participation information.
Please check these details carefully before booking.
Fixed-date workshops:
Workshops are leisure activities provided on a specific date and places are limited.
Because a place is reserved specifically for you on that date, the standard 14-day online cancellation right that applies to many purchases does not normally apply to fixed-date workshop bookings. ADHCrafts nevertheless aims to deal with cancellations reasonably and fairly.
If you need to cancel:
If you can no longer attend, please contact ADHCrafts as soon as possible.
Where reasonably possible, we may be able to: transfer your place to another person nominated by you; offer a transfer to another suitable ADHCrafts session, where one is available; or provide a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances and any costs already reasonably incurred.
Where your cancelled place can be filled by another participant, this will be taken into account when considering any refund.
Any amount retained following a cancellation will be limited to reasonable losses or costs arising from the cancellation and will not be used as a penalty.
Failure to attend without contacting ADHCrafts does not automatically create a right to a refund, although individual circumstances may still be considered.
If ADHCrafts cancels the workshop
If ADHCrafts has to cancel a workshop and cannot provide the booked session, you will be offered a full refund of the workshop booking price.
Where appropriate, we may also offer an alternative date or session, but you will not be required to accept this instead of a refund.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control require a change to the time, venue or other important part of a workshop, we will contact booked participants as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available options.
Workshop equipment and optional kits:
Where a workshop includes use of tools, equipment or practice materials, the product listing will explain what is provided.
Any take-home kit or additional product offered alongside a workshop is a separate purchase unless the workshop description specifically states that it is included in the booking price.
Physical products purchased separately remain subject to the physical-product cancellation and returns terms set out elsewhere on this page.
Accessibility and support:
ADHCrafts aims to make workshops as accessible and welcoming as reasonably possible.
If you would like to discuss a reasonable adjustment, accessibility requirement or practical support need before attending, please use the contact details given on the relevant workshop page.
You only need to provide information that is relevant to the adjustment or support you are requesting.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, ADHCrafts will process it without undue delay and within the timeframe required by law.
For returned physical goods, refunds will normally be made within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or within 14 days of receiving satisfactory evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever happens first.
Where a workshop booking or other service is cancelled and a refund is due, we will process the refund as soon as reasonably possible and within any applicable legal timeframe.
How refunds are paid:
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method. ADHCrafts will not charge a fee simply for issuing a refund.
Delivery charges:
Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right for an eligible physical product, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery option.
If you chose a more expensive delivery method, any additional amount above the cost of standard delivery does not normally have to be refunded.
Partial refunds:
In limited circumstances, the amount refunded may be reduced where the law allows this.
For example, where a returned product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, and its value has been reduced as a result, an appropriate deduction may be made.
Any deduction will be explained to you.
Refunds for faulty or incorrect products
Where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, the refund or other remedy provided will reflect your statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in this section limits those rights.
Complaints and contacting us
ADHCrafts aims to provide clear information, good-quality products and a helpful service. If something has gone wrong, or you are unhappy with a product, order, delivery or workshop, please contact us so that we have an opportunity to understand the problem and try to resolve it.
How to contact us:
When contacting ADHCrafts about an order or workshop booking, it is helpful to include:
Your name;
Your order or booking number, where available;
A brief explanation of the issue;
Any photographs or other information that may help us understand the problem.
Please use the contact details provided on this website or in your order confirmation.
We will acknowledge your concern and aim to respond within a reasonable period, taking account of the nature and complexity of the issue.
Resolving a complaint:
We will consider complaints fairly and will explain the outcome and any action we propose to take.
Where the complaint concerns your statutory consumer rights, any solution offered will take those rights into account.
If we cannot resolve a complaint directly, you may seek independent consumer advice. Customers in England and Wales can contact the Citizens Advice consumer service for information about their rights and options.
Making a complaint does not affect your statutory rights.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under UK consumer law.
Depending on what you buy, your legal rights may include rights relating to: goods being of satisfactory quality; goods being fit for purpose; goods matching their description; remedies where goods are faulty or not as described; cancellation rights for eligible online purchases; fair contract terms; and
services being provided with reasonable care and skill.
These rights apply in addition to any extra goodwill or flexibility ADHCrafts may choose to offer. If there is any conflict between these terms and your statutory rights, your statutory rights will take priority.
